For Levels 5-7: Company Repertoire Week with Pointeworks July 27 to July 31, 2026

We’re excited to announce a special summer collaboration between Pointeworks and Westside School of Ballet! ✨

During the final week of Westside School of Ballet’s Summer Intensive (July 27–31), Pointeworks will lead a Company Repertoire Week for Levels 5–7 (ages 13–18), giving students a unique opportunity to experience what it’s like to work in a professional ballet company environment.

Founded in 2023, Pointeworks is a nonprofit ballet company that brings together artists from leading ballet companies across the United States during the off-season to create and perform classical, neoclassical, and contemporary ballet, often featuring new choreography and original music commissions.

Throughout the week, students will work with Pointeworks Artistic Director Sophie Williams and Pointeworks company dancers, learning excerpts from two original Pointeworks works:

• Chasing Shadows by New York City Ballet choreographer Laine Habony
• Transcendence by choreographer Reka Gyulai

This immersive experience will introduce students to professional company repertoire, the rehearsal process behind new works, and the collaborative environment of a working ballet company.

We’re thrilled to bring this partnership to the Westside School of Ballet Summer Intensive and look forward to an inspiring week in the studio.
