Shelby Tzung

Shelby Tzung trained at Westside Ballet for 10 years before joining the School of American Ballet’s (SAB) year-round program in September 2017. 

She won the prestigious Spotlight Award in 2016.

At Westside, Shelby featured as Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, as well as Balanchine’s Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, Odette in Act II Swan Lake, contemporary ballets and jazz works.

She accepted a contract with the world renowned National Ballet of Canada for the 2019-2020 season.

Shelby was also accepted into Harvard University, but deferred while she fulfilled her professional ballet career.
