Class Description:

Parent and Me classes are designed to bring the joy of movement and love for music to the youngest students. Parents and children will get to bond through the artistry of dance and connect with other young families in the community. Families can expect to explore imagination through ballet basics and help to develop coordination. 

Teacher Bio:

Sarah Hurty was born in Los Angeles, California and started her dance training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, while also competing in gymnastics. She trained at Westside Ballet under the direction of Martine Harley before spending two years at Pacific Northwest Ballet in the Professional Division. Sarah spent the past year as a Trainee with Los Angeles Ballet and previously was a Trainee with Ballet Idaho in Boise. She has spent summers training at Jacob’s Pillow and the Chautauqua Institution. She began her teacher training as an assistant teacher at Pacific Northwest Ballet School and continued teaching ballet and jazz at Ballet Idaho.
