Lyrica Blankfein received the prestigious Mae L. Wien Award, presented to her by Peter Martins on June 3, 2014 at the School of American Ballet workshop gala performance. Lyrica is the third Westside Ballet alumna to receive the prestigious Mae L. Wien award. Lyrica is currently dancing on Broadway.

Jenna Elfman was a judge on “So You Think You Can Dance” on August 20 on Fox. Jenna attended WSB for several years, training in classical ballet before turning to acting. She’s best known for her role in the hit TV show, Dharma and Greg.

Monique Meunier has been appointed (with her husband Nilas Martins) Co-Director of Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre (read more). Meunier was a former principal dancer with New York City Ballet and a soloist with American Ballet Theater. She most recently served as ballet master for the Washington Ballet and as a full-time faculty member for its associated school. In the Fall of 2017, Meunier also joins the dance faculty at UC Santa Barbara.

Nicole Haskins signed with Smuin Ballet for Fall 2013.

Francis Veyette, Pennsylvania Ballet, was promoted to principal dancer for the 2011-12 season. Francis is now on faculty with the Miami City Ballet School.

His brother Andrew Veyette is a principal dancer with New York City Ballet. (See a YouTube video showing Andrew and Megan Fairchild in a Pas de Deux.)

Stayce Camparo is in her ninth season at Kansas City Ballet, while Nicole Haskins is in her sixth season at Sacramento Ballet. Nicole continues to grow as a choreographer; she was invited to participate in the prestigious New York Choreographic Institute.

Kylee Kitchens has been a member of Pacific Northwest Ballet since 2000.
